Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
What is PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)?
PRP is a natural treatment that uses your own blood to promote healing, stimulate collagen production, and rejuvenate the skin. The procedure involves extracting a small amount of your blood, processing it to concentrate the platelets, and then re-injecting the plasma into the skin.
How the PRP Procedure is Done:
Blood Collection: A small amount of your blood (similar to a routine blood test) is drawn from your arm.
Centrifugation: The blood is placed in a centrifuge, which spins rapidly to separate the plasma (rich in platelets) from the red and white blood cells.
Extraction: The platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is carefully extracted from the centrifuge.
Injection into Target Areas: The concentrated PRP is then re-injected into areas that need rejuvenation, like the face, scalp, or other targeted areas (depending on the treatment).
Recovery: There’s minimal downtime, and most patients can resume normal activities within a short period.
Benefits of PRP:
Natural Rejuvenation: Stimulates the body's own healing processes, promoting collagen and elastin production for more youthful, radiant skin.
Improved Skin Texture and Tone: Helps with acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles by improving the overall appearance of the skin.
Hair Restoration: PRP is used in hair restoration treatments to stimulate hair follicles and promote hair growth.
Minimal Downtime: Since the treatment uses your own blood, there’s very little risk, and recovery is typically fast.
Long-Term Results: PRP helps rejuvenate and heal the skin over time, often leading to lasting improvements after multiple sessions.
Customizable Treatment: Can be tailored to treat specific areas, such as under-eye circles, forehead lines, or thinning hair.

Safety of PRP:
Autologous Treatment: Since the plasma is derived from your own blood, there is little to no risk of allergic reactions or transmission of diseases.
Non-Surgical: It’s a non-invasive procedure that requires no cuts or stitches, making it safer than surgical alternatives.
Clinically Proven: PRP has been used in various medical fields, including orthopedics and dermatology, and is backed by clinical studies for its effectiveness and safety.
